Most Domain Registrars are Web Hosting companies, there is logic in keeping domain and hosting separate but what happens if the company hosting your domain aka (the registrar) goes bad ? At this point, it matters not that you kept them separate.

Since most bad experiences have to do with hosting, I fail to see the logic in thinking a company can be both a bad host and at the same time a good place for domains. As far as I’m concerned once a bad company the same goes for all their services.

I think customers should demand better from companies, for one thing, there are too many websites out there claiming to have the best host, best deal, etc. Companies are pulling your strings, using deceptive tricks, it’s time the customers fight back.

I have 4 months left on my hosting contract and they will not let me transfer my domain to another register or even change dns till the last 4 months of the contract is finished up.

Same boat as you. Stuck for another 2 months with a shit host.
